The Dominican Foundation of Arts and Culture honor Persio Acevedo, and the State Senator Anthony D. Gallucio, by Josephine Santana.

At its dinner gala on Saturday, February 28, the Dominican Foundation of Arts and Culture will honor Persio Acevedo, public health advocate with the Commission's Environmental Hazards program, for his outstanding and hard work in the community. The gala, set to begin at 7:00 p.m., will commemorate the 165th anniversary of the Dominican Republic Independence.
